Sky Foundation, Inc. Wins Gold AVA Award for 2015 Pancreatic Cancer Video

Sky Foundation, Inc. received the Gold AVA Award for its impressive The Sky’s The LIMIT 2015 pancreatic cancer video. The video debuted at the Sky Foundation’s 7th annual luncheon in November which raised over $350,000 for pancreatic cancer research.
AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. It is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) which administers recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
“We are so honored to receive this special award especially in conjunction with World Cancer Day (February 4th),” said Sheila Sky Kasselman, pancreatic cancer survivor and founder of Sky Foundation, Inc. “With pancreatic cancer predicted to be the second in cancer deaths by the year 2020, we need to do everything we can to help change that statistic, provide hope and save lives.”

Sky Foundation is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization that was founded in June 2008 by Kasselman. Sky Foundation’s governing and advisory boards are comprised of business, medical, and legal professionals who volunteer their time and dedicate their efforts toward raising funds for pancreatic cancer research and awareness.
