TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants and Applebee's Launch "Southfield Sundays" Campaign

Southfield Applebee's is launching a four-month Southfield Sundays community giving series today, March 20, with a Dine to Donate.

Livonia, Mich.-based TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual dining, quick-service and family dining restaurants throughout the state of Michigan, and its Southfield Applebee’s are launching a four-month Southfield Sundays community giving series today, March 20, with a Dine to Donate benefiting the Friends of the Southfield Public Library.

During the first event in the series, the Southfield Applebee’s will donate 10 percent of all guests’ food bills from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. to the Friends of the Southfield Public Library in honor of March being National Reading Month. A local nonprofit organization, the Friends of the Southfield Public Library aims to enhance the services of the library by purchasing items needed that fall outside the scope of the annual budget, providing funds for new services and collections, and actively promoting the use of the library to the community.

“After opening in 2014, our Southfield Applebee’s team was eager to find a creative way for us to further connect with our local community and continue to lead the way as an active contributor to organizations positively impacting Southfield residents,” said Southfield General Manager Brad Wilson. “Our Southfield Sundays campaign will make a measureable impact right here in our own backyard. We look forward to launching this series with the Friends of the Southfield Public Library and delivering a quality dining experience that is benefiting a truly worthy cause.”
