The Trader Joe's Contest Winner Is . . .
One lucky loyal customer will receive a $50 gift card for entering a photo of their favorite Trader Joe's product.
The Bloomfield Township Trader Joe's launched on Jan. 15 with a lot of love from locals, and loyal customers that didn't mind travelling a little bit further to get their fix.
We at Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hills Patch did our part by launching a photo contest to see just how many different products people were looking forward to getting at the new store at Telegraph and Maple roads. And readers from Bloomfield, Rochester, Northville — and many places in between — responded by posting photos of a wide variety of snacks, meal components and personal products all available at the new location. Of note: of the 40 entries, no product was repeated.

As promised, we're providing a $50 gift card to one lucky reader and randomly selected Gina Agne, of West Bloomfield, who uploaded a pic of Sweet Potato Frites early on in the contest.
Agne, who recently moved from Northville, said she frequented the store at 8 Mile and Haggerty roads, and discovered the product in the freezer section after enjoying sweet potato fries while dining out. They've been a favorite ever since.

"The Sweet Potato Frites are really tasty. They have just the right combination of sweet and salty taste," she said.
Though she has a slightly longer drive, Agne said she has enough errands to run near the new location to make trips convenient. She also said she has plans for how to best use the gift card.
"I will use the gift card to buy more Sweet Potato Frites and some of my other favorite products like pineapple salsa, fresh produce, and honey Greek yogurt," she said. "The contest photos have given me a few new product ideas to try."
Though the contest participants provided a great variety, we know we didn't come close to representing the products available in the 13,000 square-foot new Bloomfield Township location. Is your favorite Trader Joe's product missing from this collection? Though we can't offer a contest prize, we'd still like to see it.
