Tires and Rims Stolen; Vehicles Left on Blocks: Police
Bloomfield Township police say that after "multiple reports" of tire and rim thefts, residents should consider installing lug nut locks.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – Police in Bloomfield Township have taken taken “multiple reports” over the past week from motorists who left their vehicles in parking lots and returned to find their vehicles on blocks and the tires and rims missing.

The police department said the cars were parked in lots at 100 W. Hickory Grove, N Fox Hills, and in a driveway in 200 block of S. Williamsbury.

In a statement, Det. Sgt. John Weise advised residents to consider installing locks for their lug nuts to help deter the theft of tires and rims.
