Bloomfield Police looking for woman shown on surveillance camera

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — The Bloomfield Township Police Department is looking for a woman who left an eyeglass store with more than $1,600 in stolen frames.

Employees at Birmingham Vision Care, 4114 W. Maple Road, told officers that a woman came into the store and began looking at optical frames. The woman declined assistance from employees. She left the store 10 minutes later without making a purchase.

A short time later, the employees realized six display optical frames valued at more than $1600 were missing. The review of the store surveillance cameras showed the woman concealing the frames on her person prior to leaving.
