Would Be Car Thieves Attack Man with Screwdriver: Police
Homeowner interrupted four people inside his vehicle when he prepared to leave for work.

A 58-year-old Oakland Township man was repeatedly stabbed with a screwdriver about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday after he interrupted four people inside his vehicle when he got ready to leave his home at 100 block of Lyndon Circle to go to work.
The homeowner confronted the suspects and they began fighting him, stabbing him approximately a dozen times in the stomach and back with a screwdriver, Oakland County Sheriff’s Sgt. M. Planck said in a news releases.
The suspects then left in a gray Pontiac Grand AM or Grand Prix in un an unknown direction.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, and was transported to McLaren Oakland hospital for medical treatment.
The suspects include a white male, black male, white female and black female in their early 20s.
