Brighton, Michigan Attorney Nancy C. Nawrocki Honored for 30 Years of Legal Service
30 Year Recognition Award

Brighton, MI – The Nawrocki Center for Elder Law, Special Needs & Disability Planning, PLLC, is proud to announce that Nancy C. Nawrocki, founder of the law firm, has received a 30 Year Anniversary recognition award presented by the Martindale-Hubbell company.
The Martindale-Hubbell anniversary award recognizes Nancy’s many years of outstanding legal service to the citizens of Livingston County and the state of Michigan. Combining peer and client reviews, as well as positive and successful services to the state’s communities, Martindale-Hubbell recognized Nancy’s services and achievements over the past 30 years by presenting to her the Anniversary recognition award.
Nancy’s law career began in 1987 after graduating from Wayne State University Law School. She is certified to practice before the Eastern District of the U.S. District Court, and the US Supreme Court. She is also qualified to practice before the Court of Appeals for Veterans’ Claims She has successfully and consistently provided the citizens of Michigan with high quality and consistent legal services in the areas of elder law, estate planning, wills, trusts, long-term care planning, veterans’ benefits, and legal services to the disabled. Nancy is one of the very few elder law attorneys in the United States who earned a Master’s of Law degree in Elder Law from the prestigious Stetson University Law School. She maintains up-to-date knowledge of the rapidly changing legal issues affecting her clients through continuous education and legal research, which allows her to provide the latest and best legal information to counsel her clients.

In addition, Nancy is active in various community services which aid and benefit senior citizens of her community. Nancy was a co-founder of the State Bar of Michigan Elder Law Section, and continues as a member of that group. Nancy and the Nawrocki Center have been ongoing members of the Livingston County Consortium on Aging, and are major sponsors of the Caregivers Fair and Senior Power Day events conducted by the Consortium. Nancy initiated and continues to sponsor the Livingston County Commitment to Caring Award, presented by the Consortium annually to a person who has demonstrated ongoing commitment to serving the senior citizen community. She regularly conducts free seminars within the local community to provide the latest information, news, and changes in regulations as they pertain to elder, special needs and disability law issues.
Outside the office, Nancy served for three years as the first female president of the Presbytery of Detroit. She is also qualified as a Master Gardener by the Michigan State University Extension Service, and volunteers as an educator and gardener for public service projects throughout the area.
