Detroit Tigers Caravan Visits Brighton
Kids and their families had fun with members of the 2012 Detroit Tigers.
The Detroit Tigers caravan visited with children and their families at the facility Thursday afternoon.
The event was sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, , The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, , the Alzheimers Association and the Living ARC.
The families enjoyed refreshments and Detroit Tigers sugar cookies thanks to Kristen Lingenfelter. The children and Tigers players got an exclusive look at the Lingenfelters' large collection of some 200 cars, including a 1973 Porsche 914, a 2006 Lamborghini Spyder and a 2005 Ferrari Super America.

Patrick Horten and Emily Schwantz from Milford were very excited to get autographs from infielder Brandon Inge and catcher Alex Aliva.
For Luke and Mia Jakubik from Plymouth, the highlight of the afternoon was getting their picture taken with pitcher Joaquin Benoit.
