Local Sierra Club Crossroads Group invites the public to a free program at the Brighton District Library presented by Roots to Fruits, an ecological and edible landscape design firm.

We’ll learn the basics of creating bountiful ecological gardens that produce food, habitat, beauty, and more.

Presenters Mark Angelini and Trevor Newman, owners of Roots to Fruits, explore the core principles of ecological landscape design - from soil management and water harvesting to food production - and share the joy and importance of developing holistic human habitats and resilient local economies and communities.

This program is accessible and appropriate for all experience levels, from general enthusiasts to novice and experienced gardeners.
