On Thursday, March 27, approximately 130 people participated in the lecture about DNA testing by Dr. Emily Thompson, faculty member of the WCC Life Sciences Department.
Dr. Thompson's remarks enlightened WCC students/faculty and community members about the capabilities of DNA testing and its current capabilities. Participants also learned about the different DNA testing websites, and how to interpret test results to learn more about their ancestors, descendants, and personal health.
Great job Dr.Thompson!
