HERSHEY TRACK AND FIELD GAMES

SELCRA is pleased to offer the
Hershey Track and Field Youth Program again this year. A strong tradition in Brighton, our SELCRA
meet has sent finalists to the National meet for 4 of the last 5 years. This
program is for children ages 5-14 as of December 31, 2014. The purpose is to
promote physical fitness and participation for all youth. Participants compete
in two-year age groups according to birth year.
1st place athletes from each location will have a chance to advance to
the state meet, those born 2002-2005 who win their event will be eligible. The fee is $5 per child to enter for this
event. Athletes can enter either, two
track and one field OR two field and one track event. Participants cannot wear any track shoe that
has or will hold track spikes during the event. Concessions is sponsored by Salsaritas in Brighton.
Heats for physically challenged athletes will be held in any of the events
listed in their age category. The
