Southfield-based Impact Management Services (Impact), a leader in premium staff management solutions, announced today that it is hosting three jobs fairs in the metro Detroit area on Wednesday, May 14, with the goal of filling 170 full-time job light industrial positions for a client partner. Impact founder and CEO Pete Davis made the announcement.
“Michigan’s light industrial and manufacturing industries are quickly heating up as the local economy continues to improve, driving a significant demand for workers with these specialized skillsets and experiences,” said Davis. “We are hosting our recruiting events in three different metro Detroit locations to ensure we are meeting with all interested A-player candidates who could be great fits for these exciting full-time positions.”
Impact will be hosting the hiring events in Oak Park, Novi and Brighton. The company is seeking 115 machine operators starting at $11 an hour; 35 welders starting at $13 an hour; and 20 hi-lo drivers starting at $11 an hour; and quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, controls engineers and industrial engineers.
