KVHA Ravens Compete in Rainbow Tournament
Kensington Valley Hockey Association girls spend weekend on ice in Midland.
The Kensington Valley Hockey Association is in its first year of having an all-girls division of hockey teams. The Ravens, their 12U travel team, competes this weekend in Midland at the all-girls Rainbow tournament.
On Friday evening they won their first game against the Capitols, 2-1. Saturday morning they started out under the gun as they were down by 2 at the end of the second period. The girls pulled themselves together and rallied to tie the game 3-3.
They play Saturday evening and then either a consolation game or the championship game on Sunday morning.
