My name is Barb Kane and my husband Dennis and I own PKSA Karate Brighton, MI. As you probably know, May is Teen Self-Esteem Month. We are hosting a FREE Event at the Karate School on May 30th, 2014 in celebration of these awesome girls. I have attached an event flyer that will communicate all that we have planned to try and encourage, uplift and empower this age group. We are so excited about this event and want to reach as many of these young women as we can. They are all so special and they need help defining their own vision of who they are. Our hopes are that you could support this event by helping us get the word out by any other means than we currently have. We are so passionate about this event because we see first hand through some of our students how difficult life can be at this age. Many sad stories and we want to reach out and make a difference for as many of these Teens as possible.
