Need a little warmth on a cold winter’s day?

Drop back a few months to a sunny summer day on Detroit’s Rivard Plaza, near the lovely Cullen Family Carousel. Can you feel the warm breeze, perhaps a hint of love in the air?

Need some help? It is, after all, dangerously cold out there. Watch this.

He offers a bit of a ruse: a selfie of the two of them.

“Did you get it?” she asks.

He turns the camera around, drops down on one knee and, well, you know what’s coming next:

“Lisa May, will you marry me?”

Her eyes fly open, as if she’s been poked with a stick.

“What? Oh my God! Yeah. Are you serious? Is this for real?”

The ring was “way too big,” but it doesn’t sound like she planned on tossing it back.

The video was posted on YouTube on Feb. 12 and has been viewed more than 1.8 million times, and counting. More than 6.5 million people have viewed it on an Australian broadcasting Facebook page. This stuff of love was just the kind of stuff Reddit loves, too.
