• Woman reported missing dies on train tracks in Genoa Township (thelivingstonpost.com) — A 79-year-old Genoa Township woman died Wednesday morning after being struck by a train while lying on the tracks near Chilson and Brighton roads, prompting an hours-long closure of the intersection. Michigan State Police say she'd recently been reported missing and may have fallen while walking along the tracks on her way to a nearby party store. The investigation continues.
