Teen Yoga

The freedom of summertime is electric….for about a week. Then boredom sets in and kids have no idea what to do with themselves. Enter Bent Yoga. You’ve heard all of the benefits of yoga – strength, focus, de-stressing, etc. But did you also know it can help with self esteem? With preventing injury in other sports? With increased brain function? And all of this goodness is wrapped up in a fun, playful practice of handstands and boat poses.

Teen Yoga is a 6 week course where we will build the practice from the ground up, introducing your teen to both the physical postures as well as the mental stamina needed to succeed in whatever they set out to accomplish. For one hour, once a week, we will explore, challenge, breathe, fall, and get back up with a smile. No flexibility is needed.

  • Dates: Thursdays beginning June 19 (6/19, 6/26, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31)
  • Time: 11:00a – 12:00p
  • Cost: $90 for all 6 classes
  • Who: Anyone between the ages of 13-19
