A great time was had by all who participated in Lemonade Day on June 7 across Washtenaw County. WCC offered a Kidz Biz workshop in May to help prepare the kids on how to market and run their lemonade stands. Participants learned several business lessons including writing and organizing a business plan -- understanding financial terminology and the importance of giving back to the community.
Congratulations to Dr. Kim Hurns, WCC faculty member in the Business & Computer Technologies division who spearheaded the WCC Kidz Biz workshop. WCC wishes best of luck to all the future entrepreneurs and business professionals!
