Willy Wonka at Wild Swan Theater . Based on Roald Dahl's novel, this musical has all the great characters: Charlie, Grandpa Joe, Varuca, Violet, Willy Wonka himself, as well as the wonderful songs like Pure Imagination, The Candy Man, I Want it Now, The Burping Song and Golden Ticket

Wizard of Oz at The Detroit Opera House. Click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts’ desires.
Farmer for a Day at Kensington Metropark. Designed to be educational and fun, this program allows kids,ages 8 to 15 years old, the chance to work alongside our farmers taking care of the animals. Fee: $40. Registration required.
Music in the Air at City of Plymouth. The Friday Night "Music in the Air" concert series begins another summer season on May 23 through August 29.
Saturday, June 28:
Historic Base Ball Games at The Henry Ford - America's Greatest History Attraction. Base ball, the way it was meant to be played. A gentleman’s game. Gloves optional, just an action packed spectacle. Classic. The way we like it.
KidZone: Kelsey Museum at Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Create your own unique mosaic magnets with the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology. Recreate ancient mosaic patterns using beans and make your own refrigerator magnet.
Transe Express: Les Tambours (The Drummers) at Ann Arbor Summer Festival. France’s masters of public spectacle, Company Transe Express, take over Ingalls Mall with a high energy, interactive street parade booming with powerful brass and percussion.
Fairy Tale Festival at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. Not only will you and your family meet characters from Peter Pan – there will also be a “learn to fly” training session, rock climbing with the Lost Boys, storytelling, crafts, theatrical performances, and more.
Sunday, June 29:
Kids Rock: Aaron Nigel Smith at Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Bring the whole family for a lively, uplifting set of fun, danceable original songs with an island vibe from Aaron Nigel Smith. His 2009 collaboration with Ziggy Marley and 2010’s Everyone Loves to Dance were written up in People and USA Today.
Ghosts of Plymouth Walk at City of Plymouth. Walking tour around Downtown Plymouth featuring costumed historical characters stationed outside Kilwins, Penn Theatre, Wilcox House, Kellogg Park and more. Hear the tales of early Plymouth from the characters themselves.
Family Lab Day: Environmental Science at Indian Springs Metropark. We'll learn about the air, ground, and water. You'll test the water quality directly from the Huron River, and learn how to draw conclusions about different ecosystems after collecting data on them.
St Clair Art Fair 2014. The 43rd Annual St. Clair Art Fair will be June 28 and 29, 2014. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
