• Fire that caused extensive damage to Bridgeport apartment building under investigation (wnem.com) — Buena Vista firefighters were among several area departments that helped battle a Sunday afternoon blaze at a Bridgeport apartment complex, which heavily damaged two third-floor units and affected several others. Fourteen residents were displaced and are receiving Red Cross assistance, two people were treated for smoke inhalation, and investigators say foul play is not suspected as they work to determine the cause.
