• American Axle strike could impact mid-Michigan, Nexteer reaches 4th tentative deal with UAW (abc12.com) — Nexteer workers in Buena Vista Township will soon vote on a fourth tentative contract agreement between the company and the UAW, after three earlier deals were rejected. At the same time, an ongoing strike at American Axle in Three Rivers could ripple into Mid-Michigan auto plants, including those supplied by Nexteer, if no settlement is reached within weeks.
