Proposed 'glamping' resort development The Haven of Cadillac suspended (cadillacnews.com) — Plans for The Haven of Cadillac, a 70-acre luxury glamping resort near Evergreen Golf Course in Clam Lake Township, are on hold after developers suspended work and moved to end their land purchase agreement. Township officials say the land remains for sale and the project could still reappear, while prior planning included coordination with the city of Cadillac on utilities and access.

4. 1 dead after three-vehicle crash near Cadillac (mlive.com) — A deadly three-vehicle crash on M-115 near Cadillac left a 36-year-old box truck driver dead and sent two others to the hospital with minor injuries. Michigan State Police from the Cadillac Post and Cadillac City Fire responded, and investigators say alcohol and drugs are not suspected as they continue reconstructing what happened.
