Chelsea Kiwanis Club Donates $3,200 for Preschool Program

The Kiwanis Club of Chelsea recently donated $3,200 to the Chelsea School District's Community Education preschool program.

The donation will be used to provide scholarships for families who do not qualify for the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) but demonstrate financial need.

"This donation will allow several more children the opportunity to participate in pre-school education," superintendent Andrew Ingall said.

A check was presented to the Chelsea School Board at its meeting on Monday.
