• Chelsea allows city manager to resign instead of firing her for cause (mlive.com) — Chelsea's city manager, Elle Cole, has resigned effective immediately after council members, who had previously moved to fire her for cause, voted 5–2 to accept her resignation without pay or benefits. Officials cite concerns over misuse of public funds and trust, but say legal limits prevent sharing more details. An interim manager from Management Advisory Group will lead while Chelsea searches for a new permanent city manager.
