Community Update

Two of the Hired guns for the City of Clawson (Atty & Planner) need to be admonished to the point of being let go.
I have noticed, that the City planner for Clawson, did not carry out the City Council wishes, and was less then truthful (very deceptive , misleading) when asked by the C C. to do a directive,she is an adult, and should not be directed by the City Atty. to go against what the council asked her to do.
The city atty, has acted like the 6th member of the Council for a few yr's, he is a hired atty. not an elected official. He has taken liberty to allow a local business to bye pass the planning board, (no site plan filed) he bye passed our local form of City Gov't and ord's) He argued with the mayor and tried to maneuver the Council against their wishes (4-1 vote) some say it was not the planners fault (?) it was the atty who was directing. it is time for atty to retire, and to stop telling Clawson's residents and Elected Officials what he would like to see us do....... time to just stay in your upscale "Hood, ( Rochester Hills) or retire to Fla. as you plan to do in a yr or so.
Council should ask our Planning Firm to rotate the Planner out and bring in a new planner...... This has nothing to do with each others ability, it has to do with " Too Big for their Britches"  failure to follow the Flow chart of our City Government.
