1 Arrested, Another Held in Recent Dearborn Car Larcenies
Dearborn police received a report of suspicious activity near a vehicle and recovered items reported stolen in a rash of car larcenies.

Dearborn police arrested a suspect Thursday believed to have been involved in a rash of recent car larcenies and other thefts.
Ali Maged Hadrian-Zaiou, 17, of Dearborn, was arrested after police were called to the area of Donald and Horger at 5:39 a.m. on a report of two suspicious males hiding near vehicles, police said.
Hadrian-Zaiou was allegedly in possession of several items reported to Dearborn police as stolen from vehicles.

A second suspect allegedly working with Hadrian-Zaiou has been identified and arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. His name has not been released as police work to determine his alleged role in the larcenies.

Dearborn police said the same methods were used to enter cars in the recent larcenies.
“This quick action, coupled with the great work by our patrol officers and detectives resulted in the arrest of two individuals who are likely responsible for dozens of crimes in our community,” Haddad said in a statement.
Hadrian-Zaiour was arraigned in 19th District Court before Judge Mark Somers. His next court appearance is 1 p.m. Dec. 12, when he will be formally charged.
