2 Men Shot, Injured at Dearborn Intersection Monday

The victims suffered only minor injuries from the shooting at Michigan Avenue and Miller Road.

Two men were injured after they were shot at while sitting at a traffic light Monday morning at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Miller Road, according to a Press & Guide report.

At about 3 a.m., a dark-colored, four-door sedan—possibly a Lincoln MKZ—pulled up next to the victims at the intersection, and the passenger in the sedan began yelling at the two men, the report stated. The driver then fired between four and eight shots at the men, the report added.

The men—a 34-year-old from Detroit and a 32-year-old—drove to the Detroit Police Department, the report stated. Dearborn police is handling the investigation because the incident happened in their jurisdiction, the report added.

The 34-year-old had been grazed and the 32-year-old was shot in the side, but both of the victims’ injuries were not life-threatening, the report stated.
