American Red Cross To Host Blood Drive At The Center On Tuesday

The American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave., on Tuesday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Appointments are required. Residents can make an appointment to donate blood by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering the sponsor code “dearborn” or by calling 1-800-733-2767.

The Red Cross will be taking important precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all staff and donors. These include:• Taking temperatures of staff and donors before they enter the blood drive• Wiping down beds in between donors• Keeping donors and staff 6 feet apart as much as possible• All staff are required to wear gloves and change them often• All staff and donors are required to wear masks. If the donors do not have one, they will be provided one.
