• New Dearborn parking restrictions bother some; others shrug (detroitnews.com) — Dearborn is rolling out a pilot three-hour parking limit near Michigan Avenue west of Oakwood Boulevard, affecting residents of West Village Lofts and visitors to the busy downtown dining area. The restriction runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with waivers during city-sponsored events, and the city's Parking Advisory Commission will monitor and adjust the program while fines for violations can reach $100.
   

• Carhartt hit with class action after ShinyHunters hack (topclassactions.com) — A new class action lawsuit targets Dearborn-based clothing company Carhartt after hackers allegedly exposed the personal data of about 12.9 million people. Filed in Michigan federal court, the case claims Carhartt failed to use reasonable safeguards and seeks damages plus stronger protections going forward. Dearborn residents who shop with Carhartt may want to watch for breach notices or legal updates.
