• Dearborn launches three-hour parking pilot in West Downtown (clickondetroit.com) — If you park in West Downtown Dearborn, new three-hour limits now apply daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Lots D, E, H and the first floor of the Wagner Deck, with Dearborn police enforcing the rules. The pilot aims to free up spaces for shoppers, but workers may have to park farther away while the Parking Advisory Commission evaluates and adjusts the program.
   

• Dearborn Residents Boost Tree Planting Efforts Through Brome's Donation Program (wrif.com) — Dearborn homeowners can request free trees for their easements through the city's Tree Fund, supported by donations from diners at Brome Modern Eatery's two Dearborn locations. • Public Comment Period Regarding Dearborn Industrial Generation ROP (SRN: N6631), Dearborn, Wayne County (michigan.gov) — A state air-quality permit for the Dearborn Industrial Generation power plant is up for renewal, and residents can comment between October 12 and November 12. You can review documents online and submit feedback by web portal, email, mail, phone, or at a possible public hearing, helping shape how this Dearborn facility's emissions are regulated.
