Arrests Made After Shots Fired in Home Invasion
The two suspects in a home invasion were arrested after a short car and foot chase. They face multiple felony charges.

Two area men face multiple felony charges in a Friday home invasion in the 24000 block of Dartmouth where multiple shots were fired.

Nearby residents gave Dearborn police good descriptions of the suspects and the circumstances of the case, and arrests were made after a short vehicle and foot pursuit the same day, according to a news release.
Charged were Tyler Hood, 25 of Livonia and Jeremy Wilson, 36 of Redford. Both face multiple felony charges, including first-degree home invasion, felony discharge of a firearm at or in a building, felony firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and habitual offender violations.

They were arraigned in front of 19th District Court Judge Mark Somers, who set bond at $500,000 cash each.
Their next court date is 9 a.m. Friday.
“This was a heinous crime that took place in broad daylight that could have resulted in multiple serious injuries,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “Thankfully, our citizens were unharmed and our strong relationship with the community assisted in solving this case.”
