'Brazen' Dearborn Home Invasion Suspects Arrested, Charged
The three Detroit residents are accused of forcing their way into a Dearborn residence. Police Chief Ronald Haddad called it a "brazen" act.

DEARBORN, MI — Three Detroit residents have been charged with first-degree home invasion in connection with an incident around noon on Friday, July 29, after allegedly forcing their way into a home on the 13000 block of S. Marrow Circle, the Dearborn Police Department said in a news release.
Descriptions of the suspects provided to police by witnesses were broadcast to police officers, who were able to locate the suspects and apprehend them without incident, the police department said.
Those charge include Marco Abram and Steven Howard, both 18, and 17-year-old Alexis Esselman, who was charged as an adult.

They were arraigned before 19th District Court Judge William Hultgren, who ordered each held on a $5,000 personal bond, with the requirement that they wear GPS tethrs upon release.
The three have a probable cause conference in 19th District Court at 9 a.m. on Aug. 12. Their preliminary examination is set for 9 a.m. on Aug. 19, also in 19th District Court.

“Crimes of this nature will not be tolerated in Dearborn,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in the news release. “These brazen acts destroy citizen’s quality of life and we will continue our proactive approach to apprehending criminals for crimes in progress.”
