Dearborn High School Students Remember Mohamad Osman

Students at Dearborn High School in West Dearborn gathered on Wednesday, December 19th to remember their friend, Mohamad Osman, who recently lost his battle to cancer. Osman's family joined his friends, school staff and community members in remembering Mohamad. Students shared different memories about Osman while his dad and his brother thanked the community and especially students for their support to them throughout the treatment journey.

Osman was diagnosed with cancer in late 2016 and passed away on Tuesday, December 11, leaving behind his beloved family and friends. Despite his illness and the extensive chemotherapy treatments he went through, Mohamad remained an active biker, runner and swimmer, as well as a high academic achiever with a 4.0 GPA and many scholarships.

Osman was buried at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Westland.
