Chief Re-Elected to Leadership Role in Mutual Aid Group
Dearborn Fire Chief Joseph Murray re-elected to Board of Officers of Western Wayne Fire Department Mutual Aid Association.

DEARBORN, MI – Dearborn Fire Chief Joseph Murray has been elected to serve a second term to the Board of Officers of the Western Wayne Fire Department Mutual Aid Association.
Since 2014, Murray has been a representative for the organization that works for the betterment of fire services in the western Wayne County area.

The Western Wayne Mutual Aid Association comprises fire chiefs from more than 20 communities. The organization was founded to render reciprocal aid in times of emergencies, provide leadership and training in the fire service, promote community engagement, and provide a forum for the exchange ideas and solutions to common problems.
“Representing Dearborn and being involved is important because this association drives protocol, sets up mutual aid teams, and gives opinions on firework changes and medical codes that impact our community,” Murray said in a news release.
