Clean Up Parades in Dearborn

Children once again promote beautiful, sustainable Dearborn

(Dr.Glenn Maleyko)

Check out these pictures from recent clean up parades that took place in Dearborn.

Elementary school children in Dearborn continue to reinforce the ideal of a beautiful Dearborn. This will be the 67th year of children participating in Clean Up Parades around their schools, and other annual and environmentally-friendly events beginning on May 9 and continuing through May 23.

With a focus on keeping Dearborn clean and beautiful, the parade intends to motivate residents to keep their lawns cut, pick up litter, and paint their houses. The message of the parades has evolved through the years—children now include sustainability messages in each theme and activity, requesting that residents help keep the environment clean.
