Author Tom Carr in Dearborn for Michigan Murder Book Signing

Author Tom Carr's new book chronicles over three centuries of spine-tingling Michigan murders

DEARBORN, MI — Calling all crime lovers! Award-winning journalist and Michigan resident Tom Carr will speak about his gripping new crime thriller, “Blood on the Mitten: Infamous Michigan Murders 1830s to Present” at the Henry Ford Centennial Library (16301 Michigan Ave., Dearborn) on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

The book is packed with over 50 real-life, spine-tingling Michigan crime tales spanning from the 1800s to today. It’s not all blood, guts and gore though. Carr also explores Michigan’s changing political and social agendas throughout the centuries, according to a press release.

The event is free but bring your wallet if you’d like to buy a copy of the book (which Carr will sign!).
