Dearborn Hosts Free Shred Day For Residents
If you have some sensitive documents to shred and you're a Dearborn resident, mark your calendar for this day.
DEARBORN, MI — A free document shredding will take place for Dearborn residents next month. Mark your calendars for Sept. 14 at the DPW Yard, 2951 Greenfield Rd. The service runs 8 a.m. until noon.
This event is only open for Dearborn residents and proof of residency will be required, city officials said.
There is a limit of five office sized boxes of personal documents per person, with a maximum weight limit of 50 pounds. Documents will be shredded on site, and residents are able to watch their documents get shredded.
