Dearborn Police Search For Driver That Hit, Killed 6-year-old
Police said the driver of a silver or white Chevrolet Equinox hit a 6-year-old in Dearborn and never stopped.
DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Police are searching for the driver of a silver or white Chevrolet Equinox that struck and killed a six-year-old girl in Dearborn on Sunday afternoon.
The young girl was hit by the SUV on the 7600 block of Bingham at 2:50 p.m. The driver never stopped, police said.
The young girl had severe injuries and was rushed to Children's Hospital where she later died, police said.

"This is a tragic accident and we offer our condolences to the family of the victim," Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. "The Dearborn Police Department is asking that anyone with information please come forward."
