Dearborn State of the City Address Cancelled Due to Weather
Dearborn is expected to get up to 6 inches of blowing snow Wednesday.
DEARBORN, MI – Officials in Dearborn have cancelled Mayor John B. O’Reilly Jr.’s State of the City Address Wednesday because a snowstorm is expected to move into the area.
Wayne County is under a winter storm watch and could receive between 4 and 8 inches of snow.

Some areas west and north of Metro Detroit could get nearly a foot of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
The city said in a statement that officials are considering an alternative plan for the presentation of the State of the City address.

O’Reilly had planned to depart from tradition and ask a group of civic leaders and volunteer commissioners, including one of the young founders of The Real Dearborn March, to share their perspectives of the state of the community.
