Dearborn Offices Closed Tuesday, Except For Election Business

To accommodate voters, the Dearborn Administrative Center will not be open to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 3 except for election business at the City Clerk’s Office.
Customers should plan on visiting the DAC on a different time than Election Day if they have business not related to the election.

Members of the public are advised to come a different day if they are seeking a birth certificate or death certificate, a building permit, construction inspections, or want to pay a bill or check on an assessment matter, among other non-election business.
Capacity restrictions are in place at the DAC to ensure social distancing can be maintained to slow the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus. So only a limited number of customers are allowed inside the DAC at a time, while other customers wait in line outside the building.

Full city services are not being offered on Tuesday, Nov. 3 to allow voters to come inside the DAC more quickly.
The City Clerk’s office inside the DAC will be open to voters from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. People who are not yet registered can register to vote that day and then fill out an absentee ballot at the DAC that day.
