Gutowski is Dearborn's Volunteer of the Year
Learned the art of giving back at an early age.

DEARBORN, MI — Adrienne Gutowski learned from an early age that she should “lend a hand,” and that’s what she’s been doing ever since, serving a variety of charitable causes and concerns.
On Oct. 5, Dearborn's Senior Services Division recognized Gutowski as its 2016 Volunteer of the Year. The honor came during the division’s annual Volunteer Breakfast, according to a press release. Dozens of other volunteers were also thanked for helping seniors through the Meals on Wheels program, income tax preparation, working on the newsletter and more.
At Senior Services, Gutowski helps with the surplus food distribution program and works in the office. Her other volunteer activities include the Festival of Trees, Special Olympics, Alzheimer’s Association, The Information Center, AT&T Pioneer Volunteers, Catholic Social Services of Wayne County, and the Heart Association.
