DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — Dearborn Heights police are asking the public's help in finding a man who tied up and robbed a woman in her own home in the area of Van Buren and Colonial.

A surveillance video shows the man walking from a silver Dodge Durango in front of the woman's home before noon on Wednesday. He is described as a black male, 5'9" to 6 feet tall, in his 30's, with a lazy left eye.

He walked casually into the home through an unlocked front door, WXYZ reported, and grabbed the nearly 70-year-old woman who resides there by the throat and demanded cash. The video can be seen on their website.
