Kilo of Cocaine Seized in Drug Raid
County, federal authorities raid home in Detroit, storage unit in Dearborn after tip about "dope men setting up shop."

More than a kilo of cocaine, $50,000 in cash, guns and prescription drugs were seized in a drug raid in Wayne County Wednesday night, authorities said in a statement.
The raid was conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to execute search warrants, including one in Dearborn believed to be connected to an operation centered at a home near Tireman and Evergreen in Detroit.
Two men are in custody in the Wayne County Jail pending charges. Three vehicles were also impounded.

“We continuously receive calls from concerned citizens about dope men setting up shop in the neighborhood,” Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon said in the statement. “Today, by assisting the ATF we were able to bring some peace to that community.”
