Man Shot On Southfield Freeway In Dearborn: Police
Police said someone fired multiple shots at a Dodge Charger on the Southfield Freeway near Oakwood Boulevard on Tuesday night in Dearborn.
DEARBORN, MI — A man was shot Tuesday night on a Dearborn freeway, Michigan State Police said.
State troopers said a man was driving south in a Dodge Charger on the Southfield Freeway near Oakwood Boulevard, when a white Chrysler pulled alongside him on the driver's side at 9:10 p.m.
That's when officials said someone in the Chrysler began firing shots at the Charger, striking the car multiple times and injuring the driver. The man sustained a minor graze wound to his right arm and was taken to Beaumont Oakwood Hospital for treatment.

Troopers also found a gun inside the Charger during a preliminary investigation, which closed the southbound lanes on the Southfield Freeway near Michigan Avenue for several hours, officials said.
As the investigation continues, officials asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact state police at 517-284-3745.
