Michigan Lottery Jackpot Winner Has Only Days to Claim Prize

Check your wallet, desk and junk drawers. The winner of a Fantasy 5 jackpot has only days to claim prize.

A Michigan Lottery player’s loss could be the School Aid Fund’s gain if the person holding a winning Fantasy 5 ticket doesn’t step forward by Monday to claim the $328,843 jackpot

The ticket was sold on Oct. 12, 2014, at the Harrison Liquor and Wine Market on Harrison Boulevard at Lincoln Park, according to a statement from the Michigan Lottery.

If it’s your ticket, call the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to make an appointment to claim the prize at the Lottery headquarters in Lansing.

The winner has until 4:45 p.m. Monday to claim the prize. If no one comes forward, the money will go to the State School Aid fund. That would make it the second unclaimed Michigan Lottery prize this year. In August, a $1 million Mega Millions ticket purhcased in Grand Rapids went to the School Aid Fund.
