Notable Authors at Book Lovers' Sale September 29-30!

Nationally acclaimed authors Ms. Theresa Flores and Dr. Ronald Stockton will have their books available to sell and sign after their talks!

The American Association of University Women-Dearborn is proud to
announce two free author presentations and book signings to be held in the upstairs lobby of
the Dearborn Ice Skating Center,14900 Ford Rd, 48126 this coming week.

The first Author Talk at the Book Lovers' Sale 2017 features Ms. Theresa Flores on Friday, September 29 at 1:30 in the upstairs lobby. Ms. Flores is a survivor of and campaigner against sex trafficking, and the creator of Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution, a nonprofit organization that aims to help prevent sex trafficking. She is the author of The Sacred Bath-iUniverse, 2007,The Slave Across the Street-Ampelon Publishing, 2010; Random House, 2013, and Slavery in the Land of the Free-Ampelon Publishing, 2016. She will have books to sell and sign!

The second Author Talk features Dr.Ronald Stockton on Saturday, September 30. It will also be at 1:30 in the upstairs lobby. Dr. Stockton is a nationally acclaimed Professor of Political Science and a Research Associate at the University of Michigan Center for Middle East and North African Studies. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, Al Jazeera and BBC’s Four More channel. He is the author or co-author of five books. His topic is his personal memoir . He will also share memoir writing guidelines.
