Police Seek Public's Help to ID Man Who May Have Retired Cop's Badge

If you've seen the man in the photos, please call the Dearborn Police Department at (313) 943-2241.

The Dearborn Police Department is attempting to identify a man who may have information on the whereabouts of personal property lost at a Kroger supermarket located at Michigan and Greenfield.

The man arrived at the Michigan/Greenfield Kroger in a white PT Cruiser at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 2. The older white male parked the vehicle in a handicap parking spot and upon exiting his vehicle, found a wallet containing a badge and other items belonging to a retired Detroit Police officer.

“We think the gentleman may just be unsure as to where to turn the items in or may have been unsuccessful in attempting to contact the owner,” Dearborn Chief of Police Ronald Haddad. “We would like for him to come forward with the items so that they may be returned. If anyone is able to identify the man in the attached photographs, we would like to hear from them as well at (313) 943-2241.”
