Woman Who Allegedly Went Ballistic During School Registration Arraigned
When her son was asked to return on another day to finish college registration, his mom allegedly threatened to "blow this (expletive) up."

A Detroit woman who allegedly threatened to ”blow up” the Wayne County Community College District’s downtown campus, and was later found with a loaded handgun, was arraigned on felony terrorism charges Tuesday.
Surrayyah Ansair, 43, of Detroit allegedly made the threat during a violent outburst while she was trying to enroll her son in classes Friday, The Detroit News reports. She reportedly became angry when college officials asked her son to return on Monday to finish the process and threatened, “I’m gonna blow this (expletive) up”

Officials alerted campus security, who found on her a loaded .25-caliber handgun that had been reported stolen in California, a pocket knife and pepper spray.
Ansari, who appeared in a video arraignment before 36th District Court Magistrate Renee McDuffee, is charged with false report of terrorism/terroristic threats, a 20-year felony, and several weapon-related charges. Bond was set at $100,000 cash, and Ansari is due in court again on Aug. 4.
