The yard waste suspension allows resources to be directed to trash and recycling collection and helps protect workers who need to physically handle yard waste at the curb.
The City of Dearborn’s Contractor, GFL, made this decision on Thursday, April 9 due to concerns about COVID-19.

Yard waste still will be picked up on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10. Trash and recycling collection will also be on a normal schedule for April 10, even though it is the Good Friday holiday.
