2 Killed In Detroit Shooting Over Struggle For Gun: Police
Police said two men were fighting for control of a gun Wednesday when multiple shots were fired, striking both men.
DETROIT — Two men were killed in a Wednesday shooting during a struggle for a gun in Detroit, according to police.
Police said the suspected shooter walked up to a man, who was in a wheelchair, Wednesday at 2: 30 p.m. near Archdale Street and Circle Drive, close to Eight Mile Road and the Southfield Freeway.
The two men started arguing and a shot was fired, police said.

The two men then started fighting for control of the gun and multiple shots were fired during the struggle, striking both men, police said.
One man was killed in the shooting and the other man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

Investigators do not know what the relationship was between the two men. Police did not release their names.
Investigators said there was a shooting at this same location last July, and are working to see if these were the same two people involved in that shooting.
