Arctic Air, Snow Returns This Week: Metro Detroit Weather

Another round of arctic air with snow showers will make its way into the metro Detroit region this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will climb into the 40s with a chance for rain Tuesday, which will be the warmest day across the region this week, the weather service said.

There will be another chance for rain early Wednesday before arctic air moves into the region during the afternoon hours, bringing snow flurries for the rest of the day, the weather service said.

Overnight lows will fall into the teens with subzero wind chills, the weather service said.

The cold air sticks around Thursday with more chances for snow Friday and through the weekend, the weather service said.
